Turbo VS Supercharger

I want to purchase a turbo for my vtf-2 mk3 but if Hsu plans to bring out the supercharger in the next 6 mo's should I wait ?

It is my understanding, I could be wrong, that the supercharger adds to the total volume of the enclosure not just the port area.

Another question would be, who will try to copy it? Oh that's right they can't. That would be illegal.
