Anyone have any experience with this bass management system or any other sub equalizers?
Thank you for the input, Bzmanbass:)

Hi bzb,
We've had many customers who have used items like SMS-1, AntiMode 8033, Audyssey, etc with good results. So by all means invest in something like that to smooth the frequency response.

Are you experiencing bass issues that you could share with us?
I have the SMS-1, and I don't use it any more. Why? Because these types of bass equalizers adjust frequency response based on a single measuring point. If you use Audyssey for room correction, which is based on multiple measuring points, then adding a second device that is based on a single measurement point simply degrades the Audyssey room correction results.
I recommend letting Audyssey do the bass correction by itself. If you have serious bass problems, you could also consider the Audyssey subwoofer bass management system (http://www.audyssey.com/hometheater/subeq.html), which is a highly regarded unit that adds additional control in the bass region. The SMS-1 isn't cheap, nor is the Audyssey unit. But the latter provides much better results for the cost, IMHO.
And, if you don't use Audyssey and are still interested in using the SMS-1, I would consider parting with my unit at a discount.

Thank you for your response, Pete And Jerry,
I have been learning a lot and with your help and other research I've come to the same conclusion as Jerry.:)
I am fortunate to have an AV Receiver the Audussey XT processing and I am going to rely on that for now.
Thanks bzmanbass:D
