Hi manu,
If you want more upper bass energy from the subwoofer, then set crossover switch to 'Out' on the sub amp. If you want the subwoofer to have less upper bass energy, then set crossover switch to 'In', and crossover knob to 80Hz.
80Hz crossover on the receiver for all speakers and subwoofer is a good setting.
Sincerely,

thanks sir,i set all channels to 80 hz and xover knob on sub at max 90hz as instruct in vtf2mk3 manual and also some one told me to set xover on sub to max so that only avr handle low frequency for subwoofer ,is it right when i choose 80hz on avr and xover on sub knob also 80hz bass is less and also more localizable so after setting xover knob max on sub i can have much wider bass and no more localizable sub

Manu, in order to only use the crossover on the receiver, one needs to set the crossover switch on the sub amp to 'Out'. This will bypass the internal crossover on the sub amp, so that the crossover knob will have no effect.
If you feel like the subwoofer is too localizeable with crossover 'Out', then you can engage crossover 'In' and set the crossover knob on the sub amp to the same frequency as that set on the receiver.

sir are you sure but in vtf2mk3 manual it says if bass is boomy or too much with xover out then one can set xover switch in and sub xover dail to max 90hz ,sir if i use both xover (subwoofer's and avr) won't it be wrong  coz i'm then using two xover for bass

It's fine to set crossover to 'In' to engage the internal crossover on the sub amp in addition to the crossover on the receiver. This will make the subwoofer roll off more quickly in the upper bass frequencies, which some people prefer.
I recommend that you try it both ways, both 'In' and 'Out' to see what sounds better to you.
