Is Performance 2 right size for my room?

Hey all. I've been looking at the Performance 2 package and doing a lot of digging around online. Everything I've read has convinced me it's a great set, but I'm not sure if it would be a good fit for my living room. The room itself is 15x13.5x8 (see the diagram I made), but there a lot of extra space on the side and in the back; there's no wall between the stairwell and the couch. Would these little speakers be able to fill listening area with sound, or do I need to go bigger? Thanks in advance.

Hi FYB,

Provided that you need very small satellite speakers and have a relatively tight budget, then it would be hard to do better than Performance 2 system. That system will do as good or better than other small speaker systems in filling this space. If you are able to accomodate larger speakers and have a much more flexible budget, than you can consider the Enthusiast 2 system.

Thanks, Pete. Yes, size is a big factor (according to my wife). Can't wait to get my system set up.
