For sale: One of the original subs built by HSU that made them famous. From 1991. This is one of, if not the best sounding subs EVER! It will rival anything built by anyone from any company. Having owned several of the newer HSU subs, I can say that nothing they build now can compare.
This is the later version with the dual ports. For those who don't know this is the roundtop end-table design. It is charcoal pressboard on top and is cylindrical. Comes with the high quality 500 watt separate amp from HSU.
Currently its tuned to 96 Hz, but I have additional crossover chips. Its easy to place the sub anywhere in the room since its not attached to the amp internally. Stunning bass flat to 20 Hz. Its in excellent shape cosmetically and all original.
Currently the driver is making making rattling sounds at certain frequencies, its barely noticeable, but I am sending it out to HSU for them to take a look. If its not repairable I am buying a replacement at the cost of $150.
AS-IS I would accept $350 for everything. With the driver repaired $500. I do believe I have the owner's manual, and if so its included. I would consider a trade towards another HSU sub.
