Because the micro satellites are so lightweight, you have a wide variety of stands that will fit the bill.
The critical thing is to get the speakers are ear level of seated listeners. This depends a bit on the height of your couch.
Dr. Hsu just uses wooden stands, similar to the Sanus ones at parts express. The telescoping stands would work fine. They allow you to fine tune the height of the speaker.

What about these stands from IKEA? Only $19.99 for a pair!

Those look like nice stands, but they only have a Maximum height of 331/2 inches. that might be a little low. I was able to locate some at Wallmart for $28. Maximum height 47inches. These work well with my V-12 system since I have a couch that sits higher off the ground. So go to www.walmart.com and search for speaker stands and you will be good-to-go! Have a nice day. PPD:cool:
ps. these stands are made of cast Iron so they have kinda a silver look to them, so they match with the Silver of Black v-12 system.
