Hello,

I'm looking to sell my HSU STF-2 that I purchased 3 years ago directly from the HSU website. However, the original Bash amplifier associated with this model has malfunctioned and will require repair.

The STF-2 enclosure and and driver are in very good condition; visually they are like new. The subwoofer was functioning properly and sounded just fine up until the issue with the amplifier.

The amplifier problem is with a blowing fuse which happens every time the unit is turned on. Some forum searches and other Googled searches I have done indicate that this problem has been known to happen on the STF-2 and so it is also repairable by HSU.

I contacted HSU several weeks ago and their quote for such repair is a range from $80-120, but there is apparently only a 90 guarantee on repairs and so I have decided to walk away from HSU. Despite the reliability issue, I was happy with it for 3 years though.

Please respond here if interested or I may just scrap it.

I can update with a shipping cost if you are interested. I have the original box and manual.

Thanks.

Hey Gfish29,

I may be interested depending on shipping costs. Where are you located? Any idea on what it would cost to ship to Massachusetts, zip code 01240?

Can you send me an e-mail at slysquispam@gmail.com?

Thanks,
Nick
