Hello everyone! Longtime lurker, first time poster...due to my complete lack of knowledge/experience on the subject of audio, I have been hesitant to post. However, given my completely positive experience with this company and particular product, I felt I "owed" it to Dr. Hsu to post few words. Dr. Hsu was kind enough to assist me with a few simple details in the beginning. He was extremely courteous and helpful and I very much appreciate his time. Plus, I wanted to enlighten you with a lady's point of view!! :)

I became a proud owner of the Vtf 2.3 a couple of months ago and could not possibly be happier. Again, I do not have thorough knowledge nor experience on the topic to explicitly convey my thoughts but I do know I'm completely astounded! Granted, I went from a JBL amp htib that I've owned for about 10 years but it sufficed for my listening tendencies (80% ht/20% music). :o In other words, I didn't know any better to realize exactly what I was missing. I am so thankful that I was directed through my research to this product. All of the praise I read during my research is certainly true.

I am currently awaiting the arrival of my speakers from av123.com to complete my 5.1 system...ht/music nirvana has nearly arrived in it's full capacity!!! In the meantime, I'll continue enjoying my wonderful sub with my JBL's...at least I have the sub! :D

Thanks for listening/reading....take care everyone!! :)

It is amazing to finally have a good sub isn’t it! Make sure you calibrate it to the speakers that you have. What AV123 speakers are you getting? All of the products are great. Enjoy the new system:D

Yes, it is amazing to have such a great sub. My next step is to familiarize myself w/ the manual calibration process; so far all I've used is the auto calibration on my receiver. I've read some informative posts on the avsforum on the topic so I think I can figure it out. So once the av123 speakers begin arriving, I'll attempt it manually.

I currenlty have the x-mtm tower speakers, x-cs center, and x-omni surrounds all in natural mascarey/satin on order. I'll have to wait a while on the surrounds, but the l/c/r should hopefully arrive w/in the next 6 weeks or so. :D I was contemplating on the rockets but utimately decided to be a little more practical by not spending as much. I know I won't be disappointed...I can't wait!!!
