Hello!
I am very close to purchase my first serious subwoofer.
Most probably it will be VTF-2 MK3. I read a lot about it in this forum.
Thanks for all the details I was able to find here.
My concern is packing for shippment.
A few month ago my friend ordered VTF-2 MK3 and he was surprised when found a few parts inserted into ports. These parts became loose while shipped and he was lucky it did not damage the woofer.
His thread with messages about this issue:

Can you please confirm that such practice is used no more in you shippment department?
It is especially important for me because I am going to order Clearance Item with "No Return, No Excahnge" policy.
Regards,
AndreyCh.

Hi Andrey,

The feet and power cord were in a bag behind the port plug, attached using a string to the high level inputs. So the bag/string broke on that unit, which was a very isolated incident.

Even though the Walnut clearance items have no returns/exchanges, they still have the full warranty and are brand new. So you should have no fears about the purchase.

Thanks!
Placed the order and waiting for delivery.
Should be great addition to my Monitor Audio RS6 speakers.
