1. If mounting HIW-1s within a column (not directly in a wall cavity), is there any optimal target volume (cu. ft.) one should shoot for? Perhaps based on the HB-1's internal volume? (although that may not be a fair comparison, since the HB-1 is rear ported)
2. Any idea how these might match as surrounds with TCA Pro-10s as LCRs? (hard to know I suppose, since they were just shipped)

Hi fitzwaddle,
I would go with an internal volume similar to our HB-1 MK2 if possible.
It should work fine for surround sound duty with the Pro10

Do you have the HIW-1s set up for audition / demo? I work in OC (Irvine), not sure where exactly you guys are.

Yes we do. We are in Anaheim right off the 91 freeway (close to where it intersects with the 57). Feel free to call at least 1-2 hours in advance to make an appointment for demo.
