It seems everyone here has their gains set to around the same spot (9 o'clock). How much gain is too much? I'm trying to get rid of a low spot in my room response and I thought it would be easier to increase the gain on the sub and then cut the peaks with my EQ. Isn't it better to cut on the EQ than boost? Right now, the gain is 1/2 way between the 2nd and 3rd marks on the dial but I'm still lower than I'd like.
