Hi,

wishing to seek some advice regarding having a true sub for a small room.

Currently, I am using Gallo Strada monitors as Mains.

I will be purchasing the HSU High End Crossover and 2 x MBM-12. (Crossover at 155).

Will a true sub be needed ?

Room size is 3m by 3m by 2.3m.

Thanks

Hi zzz,

The MBM's will roll off naturally below 50Hz, so one should use a true subwoofer to take over below that frequency. In theory one can use any of our true subs with an MBM, but most people go with either VTF or ULS subs when using the MBM.

Thanks

Sincerely,

I own the VTF-1. I've had it about 8 months and am most pleased with its performance. It's got a ton of power for its relative small size.

It sounds and feels great in my livingroom. Movies sound better than ever and all my old music has come alive like I've never heard it before.

My room is 14'D x 18'W x 8'H (4.2m x 3.2m x 2.4m)
