Hi to all -
I am designing a speaker setup which will go in our family's multipurpose room ... a system that will be used both for movie viewing and music listening.
My question is: what are the issues of using a MBM-12 in addition to a VTF(-3) if the listener were not seated in front/appropriately to the MBM-12? In other words, if a listener were walking around the room listening to music (in my case this would likely be large orchestral or jazz big band), would there be any loss of mid-high bass frequency response because I was not seated where the MBM-12 was focusing its sound?
I would prefer not to have to make settings changes to the high-pass unit or to the system in general when switching between movies (seated) and music (wandering around the room), but perhaps it would not be too difficult?
Many thanks in advance for your ideas and advice -
