Carpet vs Wood/tile floor

Hello.

I have a 3HO. My living room is currenty carpeted.

I am thinking about doing my wood floor or Ceramic Tile for the living room.

Do you think that the HO will sound worse with wood floor? Or do you think it will sound the same.

I hope it sounds better.

Hi greddy. I'm not sure it would make a huge difference one way or another. Carpet is actually a nice surface to have when using a subwoofer. Tough to say exactly how it will sound with other surfaces. The different dimensions and layout of the room would probably have a much larger effect on the sound than the actual type of flooring surface.
