Im looking for some speakers to replace my...caugh..kenwoods...and I need to replace my teac receiever. I think I will shoot for the Ventriloquist series as they are more in my budget - but with the HB1s on sale for 109 each..4 would be 436, plus a center and a woofer doesn't seem like it would be that much more? I assume the hb1s are superior speakers?
I have a 12" subwoofer already, would it be a bad idea to re-use it with the HSU speakers?
Also - a friend recommended these speakers to me, one thing I have a lot of is space - so I don't want to spend extra money to get the speakers smaller, if thats all i'm paying for then I can go with a larger speaker and save some money?
TIA
