Ready to calibrate VTF-3R and .....

I have a question...When one does a speaker calibration, do you first calibrate your speakers through the Yamaha set-up..then once that is done, calibrate again through the Denon 2900 set-up? or do just one ? If so, which one?

Other caveats would be appreciated.

I do not believe the Yamaha's have bass management on the analog 5.1 inputs.

If you are using the 2900 for SACD and DVD-A, with the Yamaha selected for the 5.1 inputs, you should set up the bass management on the 2900, and calibrate.

Otherwise, if you calibrated via the Yamaha, bass management and levels, and run the 2900 through the digital inputs and two channel, you should be fine.
