I am the proud owner of 2 HB-1's and 1 HC-1. I am super happy with the sound of these speakers. I am going to buy a new sub soon. I owned a Def Tec SuperCube 1 but sold it when I moved to an apt. I'm not trying to compare a $500.00 sub to my Supercube. The Hsu VFT2 has a 250 watt amp, and the reviews have been very good. Outlaw Audio now has a new sub called the LFM-1 with the same specs as Hsu, but, has a 350 watt amp. The Outlaw sub is $50.00 more then the Hsu and the ports on the bottom the sub. Any comments on ether sub would be a big help. Thanks.

Hey ted!
You really can't go wrong with LFM-1+ or with VTF-2 Mk3. They are similar in performance, with the LFM-1+ having a bit higher output with the more powerful amplifier. The LFM-1+ also has some different cosmetic cues (such as plexiglass top), and downfiring ports (makes it more kid-proof and can help to reduce audible port noise). As long as the price differential is not a big deal, then I would highly recommend it.
Sincerely,

Hi Peter. Thanks. You and the people at HSU have been great when it comes to answering my questions.
