I am moving and at the new place wifey does not want my wires and speaker clutter, so this house is prewired for 2 front and 2 rear speakers , could I replace my Polk RT55i fronts and RT35i rears with 4 HIW-1s and be a happy camper mated with VTF-2 SW recently serviced so in good shape?
thanks in advance for the knowledge including ppl at Hsu plz

Sure thing colonel, four HIW-1 with a VTF-2 MK3 should make for a very impressive system! Do you plan to use an HC-1 MK2 as the front center channel speaker?

Thanks

It is ideal to have the same or similar speaker all around, but I suppose mixing and matching should work just fine too. If you go with four HIW-1, then maybe sometime down the road you can look into getting an HC-1 MK2 up front.
