Hey guys... ready to buy a sub and have been looking aorund reading forums and researching somewhat and Iam ready to make a purchase. Like what I hear on HSU and wanted to hear recommendations on the HSU product that you would recommend for my needs.

My current setup:
Sony STR-DA50ES A/V Receiver
Rotel RMB-1075 5/ch amp
Fronts are Paradigm v2. 100's
center is infinity cc-2 (want to replace too)
rears are infinity QPS-1 quads

current room is small at 12x20 but iam renting (in a house) so i want to make sure i get something that will fit in later in a larger room when i move.

iam 50/50 in the music and HT listening/viewing department so i need something that does both well.. budget is flexable obviously more bang for the buck... but have been looking in the $700 range... thanks in advance!

A good choice for you would be the STF-3 at $599. If you can save up $100 extra on top of your current budget, VTF-3 MK-II becomes a good option with the nicer glossy piano black finish, variable tuning, somewhat higher amplifier power, and somewhat lower frequency response in maximum extension mode.

Hi Landshark,

I agree with Michael, the STF-3 fits well within your budget and will suit a larger room when you move.

Looking at your requirements, I agree that you simply could not choose a better match for your need's, both for now and in the future.......than the STF-3.

Not only that, but you will have that $100 to spend on other goodies.
