I started a thread seeking information about the undersized posts on the Ventriloquist center-rear speaker. The thread seems to be missing.

It seems to be a pretty straightforward question to ask what plugs in the holes of those posts.

If nothing fits, then a simple response that nothing fits will do.

If something does fit, then it would be nice to know what.

Given the pain of trying to snake sizeable wires horizontally through those pairs of posts, I can't imagine this issue is going away. I'd be surprised if at least every 10th customer doesn't start a thread wanting to know. Might as well answer it now, once and for all. And perhaps put the answer in the manual and FAQ.

The question wasn't answered, and it seems to be a legitimate question a lot of people are going to be asking as the Ventriloquists ship out.

To restate: the terminal posts on the backs of the Ventriloquist center-rear speakers aren't as big as the ones on the rest of the speakers, and standard banana plugs won't plug in. However, there are holes, just smaller. It looks like they are designed for something to plug in. The question is what?

It's a real pain in the posterior to be up on a 7' ladder trying to thread an inch and a half of tinned 12-guage wire through a pair of holes recessed in a space so small it's hard to get needle nosed pliers in the space.

I think it was moved to keep everything categorized properly and not all clumped together into one forum.

I see it now. I hadn't noticed that there is now a forum down there for these kinds of things.
