View Full Version : How to optimize use of smaller sub with ULS-15

I have a impossibly huge room to fill with bass. 24x21x18h open to the kitchen in the back and dining/staircase on another side. I have one UlS-15 and one Martin Logan Dynamo 10 inch sub. The M&L sub is quite impressive for its size and cost and I would like to incorporate it into my system until I can afford another ULS-15. (I'm saving like mad) Any problem daisy chaining the ULS-15 after the M&L. Will I run into problems with this setup? Should I try to set up the M&L as a mid bass speaker. If so, how? You should have seen the smile on my kids face the first time they heard/felt the ULS-15. I can't wait to get another. Thanks.

Hi Rjman,

You can certainly try using your ML sub with the ULS-15. No real need to daisy chain (that is usually meant for two identical subwoofers in master/slave config), simply split the signal from the subwoofer pre-out on your receiver to feed both the ML and the ULS-15.

Ideally you should add MBM-12 MK2 for mid-bass, and a second ULS-15 for deep bass.

Sincerely,
