Paint a box?

Hi all,

Has anyone ever tried painting a veneer box? I'm currently looking at adding an MBM-12 to my current VTF-3.3 (satin black). I'm intrigued by the idea of saving some money and getting the maple MBM-12 and painting it to match my VTF-3.3.

If you want them to match, you would need to paint both.
