Has STF-2 shipping started?

Have you started shipping out STF-2? I ordered mine before thanksgiving and was hoping mine would get shipped out on Dec 10 but haven't got any confirmation or a tracking number. Are you still on track with the expected "at dock on 6th, ship on 10th" schedule?

I am wondering the same thing. I ordered an STF-2 some time ago but I have not received any shipping notification. I even sent in a request by email for my order status yesterday and I have not heard anything.

It says that they are in stock.

Could someone please confirm whether all back orders have shipped and whether we should expect a shipping confirmation with tracking number by email?

I just talked with Sam in Orders, and since yesterday we are sending them out in batches of about 30 backorders a day. However, we still have more to go. They were so busy getting more ready to ship, that they couldn't look up the last internet order nubmer that was shipped.

Keep in mind that the tracking numbers go out the evening they are shipped, not the moment they hit the truck. On the East cost, that might be quite late at night.

Subsequent to my ordering the STF-2, I ordered a cable. The cable has already arrived and I never received any kind of shipping notice or tracking number for it by email.

Are tracking numbers really sent out when the unit ships?

I ordered the STF-2 quite some time ago with the intention of being able to use it for the holidays. I think we are getting to the point where ground shipping to the East coast is not guaranteed to get here before Christmas.

Needless to say, I am a little frustrated.

Sam told me to call him back this past wednesday. I did and said he just processed my order and that is it was going out inthe AM.
Today is Friday and heard nothing. Hopefully due to sending out lots of units & not having time to e mail the tracking #. Lets hope that is what it is.

Just call Sam and find out what is going with your order.

I called them this evening and found out that mine was shipped out today and got the tracking number from them over the phone.

I just receive my STF - 2 at 7:20p.m. tonight. This purchase is for my third system in my computer room.
I set it up in my bedroom sysem to compare to the SVS 20-39PC. I just hook up the interconnect onto the STF -2 and play. I play Badboy II for half hour with STF -2. I was complete surprise the performance on this small unit.
I do also the Velodyne HS 10, for the price difference, this is the best buy.
I will post more review later.
This will keep me busy and happy this weekend and the last two weeks of the year.

great, so nov 24th orders just left the factory on Friday... meaning my Nov 28 order should arrive at my house just under a month after I ordered it.

You preordered it then. Sasha mentioned on this forum that there was a delay that they could not control. Let's hope that shipping goes smoothly now.
