Would it be a total waste to purchase HC-1's around the entire room instead of using one HC1 as the center and the HB-1's as surrounds? I have never heard the HSU's but I've read that they are extremely potent for their size - they just look smaller than what I am used to. I don't want to ruin the accoustics by getting 5 of HC-1's but my wife is always complaining about the center channel being so soft. I was going to at least get 3 HC-1's to use as the center/presence and then maybe 2 HB-1's for the rear. If any of you have these speakers please advise me on what worked for you.

Thank you,
Mike

Make sure to look at the dimensions of the speakers, they are much much larger than what I expected them to be. You would be hard pressed to find a room large enough to want more sound than these HB-1s put out. The HB-1s are more than a foot tall and have a foot print larger than most speaker stands easily accomodate. You will not be disappointed with a full array of HB-1s.
