Thanks for the link. Their Ventriloquist is a bit different than the ones we started shipping--different on the inside and outside.
Also, just about all their gripes were over the DVD player and receiver part, not much on the speakers. No objective testing methods were used as well from my read.

They said there is hole in midbass between the sub and speaker on many CD selections, albeit just like pretty much every other micro-speaker system. I thought the center speaker was suppose to take care of that?

If the reviewer from CNet heard a hole in the midbass I guarantee that he had them wired wrong--or he had the Ventriloquist On/Off switch in the OFF position. I've both listened to and measured that system and there is no hole in the midbass.
