I'm trying to put together my HT. I came across a posting in the forum about auto calibration. I just bought Yamaha RXV1800 and it comes it yamaha YPAO. Is it safe to use this calibration with the VTF3- MK3 with Turbo connected? if not safe, what should i do? please advise

tatot, are you using VT-12 speakers? The only reason to be careful with the VT-12 system is that it uses very small drivers that can get potentially damaged if overdriven, which could happen if the system is played at very loud levels and the eq is trying to boost nulls. However, it shouldn't hurt to experiment with the eq system.

peter, i just installed 2 ELAN MP800W as 2 fronts with phantom center and 4 ELAN mm650w as surrounds. i will have to test how the phantom mode works for the center. if i'm not satisfied, i plan to buy the aperion 633VAC. it has very good review in sound and vision. can you advise me also about phantom mode center?
