[LEFT] I have a VTF3-MK3 in the corner of my living room. The problem with it is that it has to sit almost directly in the corner of the room and there probably isn't enough room behind the ports for them to "breathe" properly. Do you think by adding a turbo charger that it would eliminate this "boomy" bass that I am hearing? I don't have any sort of DSP to use on my sub yet... What do you think I should do or try? TIA

Masse, how does the subwoofer sound if you rotate the subwoofer forward on it's front face so that the ports fire upward? Also, try doing that and then rotating the unit 90 degrees sideways so that the woofer fires forward.

Also, what are the dimensions of your room? Does your theater room open up into any other rooms?

Thanks

Sincerely,

It is my living room which opens directly into the kitchen. I know, not good. I don't know really how to describe the sound. It sounds kind of like a buzzing noise. Sometimes it sounds decent, but other times it just doesn't sound right. It also doesn't seem very deep...I need help. Do you think a BFD would help out with my crappy room layout? TIA
