I have 4 HB-1's and an HC-1 I just received. They go with the VTF3-Mk2. I'm looking to mount these either on stands or on the wall.

I have a PLV-Z4 front projector currently and I'm using these for 5.1 and music. The room is about 13'-6" x 15' x 8'-4"

I'm limited to about 6-8 inches out from the wall if I use stands.

My questions:

1. What stands or wall mounts do you think would work best that won't kill my wallet?

2. Am I better going with stands or wall mounts, considering the stands are going to be very near the wall?

3. Should I mounts the rears at ear level or higher? and should I tip them in or point them straight out?

Thanks for the help.

Hey ice,

Generally I would prefer using speaker stands with tweeter positioned approximately at ear height. Here are some recommendations on stands:

If you would like to ceiling or wall mount, I would look into something like the Omnimount 20.0

The rear surrounds should be a bit above ear level. If you can point them facing inward towards each other, that would be good. However, pointing them straight is acceptable too.
