VTF-2 or STF-2

Im in Australia and im set on getting a HSU sub.

I have the option of getting a "traded" VTF-2 from the local distributor, refurbed and with warrenty for $850-$950 AUD
OR can wait till January and get a STF-2 for $1200 brand new.

Any recommendations on which option i should take?

Is the VTF-2 sub very durable and not subject to early wear?

Get the VTF-2.
