Hi. New to forum...but I've had HSU subs since the very
first VTF-2 came out (you know, the ones with the
wrinkle finish).

Anyways I bought a MBM-12 yesterday (to complement
my VTF-3/3). The VTF-3 is in the right hand corner of my
listening area, and the MBM-12 is 12' away, nearfield,
behind my couch.

I was looking through the manual of the MBM and it
recommended a digital delay box. 1 millisecond for each
foot. Is anyone doing this? I'd like to try it out,
but on the cheap ($100 budget max). If anywone has any input or information on a delay device I would surly
appreciate it:D......thanks in advance......vardo

Hey vardo,

You could try something like Behringer DSP2024P, which is available for $100 from places online like American Musical Supply.

What are your impressions so far after adding MBM-12 to the mix?

Thanks

When the MBM-12 came out, I thought, a mid sub was
a joke, a gimmick. A VTF-3/3 would be fine, so that's
what I purchased. Then after reading some reviews, and
on several forums how much people liked them, I thought
I'd give it a try. I works as advertised. Bass seems alot
fuller, and music is just more fun to listen to.

Definatly a good investment...vardo

I tried the same setup with my 3.3 Turbo and a 15" dayton sub and it did work somewhat. I then got the MBM-12 and WOW! It blows anything else out of the water.
