Hello all, I have recently acquired a V-2B 12" Miller & Kreisel Subwoofer enclosure. I would like to replace the current driver with the ASW-1203 if possible so that I can own a bit of Dr. HSU's phenomenal product. Of course, M&K have recently gone out of business and although their return under new ownership could be soon, I would rather integrate HSU speakers into my system. The M&K speaker has +/- connections on both sides although I am unable to say for sure that it is indeed DVC. Does anyone know if this scenario is fail-safe or could I end up with a mismatched system ? The original driver is "MK-3B" & 4ohm. The amp inside the box is pretty old....I can find no information on the amp.
Thanks for any suggestions.
Matt

Not advisable (sp?). Subs and their cabinets are design parameters that are matched by the designer to achieve a desired effect. Swapping out subs without knowing all of those is asking for trouble.
