Hello everyone i just got my VTF-3 MK-3 and to be honest it really rocks .I have listen to a lot of subs like Velodyne, sunfire ,Mirage,B&W even a hole set up from meridian speakers and nothing compares to it .My question is where do you set the volume on your sub if all the way down is 6 o clock to the left and half way is 12 o clock and all the way up is 6 o clock all the way to the right .My receiver is set to +3 db like the manual said .Call in the other day and they told me to set it up like at 9 o clock that is not even half way. Please some give me some advice because i am very confuse..Thanks PS Really dont see why HSU has a 30 Day back warranty ,If you dont like this sub you got a hearing problem. This sub Shakes my hole 2000 sq feet house WEll done HSU ...

Between 9 and 10 is correct. It'll leave you plenty of headroom. Get a SPL meter to help balance/fine tune it.

Leave the volume knob on the sub at 9 o clock-10o clock
but leave the gain on the receiver/amp at 0db not 3 db
