VTF-3R Port Question

Just got my VTF-3R today - wow, what workmanship. A flawless finish!

Anway, my question - in the manual it says the right port, when looking at the rear of the sub should be plugged for max extension. My sub came with the left port plugged, when looking at the rear. Does it matter which is plugged?

If you are plugging a port, make sure it is the one with the internal cardboard tube, and not the plastic one. The plastic tube has a bit better performance than the cardboard, and is preferred over the other.
