My 3.3 just came in today! I know why am I posting here and not setting it up, well I have to carry it up a few flights of stairs and am waiting for a friend to come over and help out with that. But I had a quick question on frequency response. On the website it says that max extension is 18 Hz and 25Hz (in MO mode), but I thought that it went down to 16 Hz and would do 22Hz in MO mode. I have heard many magazines reference this, for example “indeed while a standard mk3 can actually get down to 17 Hz at a decent output level with one port open”

Or “it can dig down to an honest 16Hz and play it both loudly and musically” so does HSU just underrate their specs a bit since it largely depends on the room? Also where can I find a frequency response graph for the MK3 while I wait here, thanks a ton!

The in-room response will usually be lower than the listed specifications. My VTF 2.3 plays down to 15Hz in my room using Room Equalization Wizard software for measurements.
