Hey all,

Sorry for asking this question which I would imagine has been asked many times but I could not find the answer so here it goes.

Does anyone have detailed steps for how to use the AVIA dvd to setup my sub. I just got a STF-1 and am mating it to a pair of Mordaunt Short 20is. Initial setup sounds good but I have no idea how to properly set the crossover point and volume, other than by ear which I think leaves alot on the table. I have the radio shack SPL meter and the AVIA dvd but don't know the specific steps to get it dialed in.

What test tones do I use to find the optimal crossover point? What am I to listen for?
What tests do I use to set the volume? From other posts I gather I should set volume on the main speakers using 75db and the sub at 85db?

There must be an article with this information someone could point me to.

BTW I think I threw out the HSU supplied test disc since I never opened the packing slip pouch. Doh!

Thanks alot for any help!
