Is it possible to set up a 5.2 speaker setup instead of the most popular and common 5.1, where in which there's 1 sub on the left side and 1 sub on the right side. The sub on the left side produces only the Left channel bass whereas the sub on the right side produces only Right channel bass.

I know that bass somewhere below, i think 40hz, is non-directional, but above that, it's pretty directional to hear it. It depends on how far each subs are placed at from the left and from the right with u in between them to be heard .

This will create a true surround effect with bass from the subs that come from the left and right side and also the mid-range's and high's from your other speakers.
