Hello Everyone,

I emailed the following to Hsu Sales, but due to the holidays coming
up I figured it might take those folks some time to respond. I figured
I would get some immediate feedback from current owners posting
on the forum. For that you have my thanks!

Let me start by describing my current audio system:

Amp: Outlaw 1050
Front: NHT 2.3A
Center: NHT VT-1C
Rear: NHT 1.3
Sub: PSB Subsonic III
DVD/CD: Pioneer
HTPC Setup

I love my speakers! Have had them for over 10+ years, but it's

not rating high with WAF, hence she is pushing me to replace
the system with something that can increase floor space and be
wall mounted. Wife and I tend to listen to tons of music and love
to watch movies. Sound quality for both music and movies need
to remain high. In my mind they are equally important. We tend
to listen to music and movies loud. Bass response is very important.
I am considering keeping my sub, but would opt to replace if you
feel Hsu could produce similar bass level in a smaller package?

I would like to replace Outlaw Amp w/ 7.1 receiver that has HDMI
output capability. I am considering Onkyo, Yamaha and Denon.

My question to you knowing all this background is what Hsu system
would you recommend? I am considering Enthusiast 1 setup w/ an
additional 3 HB-1's to give me 7.1 sound. Is that overkill for my space?
Room dimensions are a bit hard to describe as our living room is open on
2 sides with a 16ft cathedral ceiling in the middle above the fireplace and
where I would mount TV/Speakers. Listening space is approx 18' L x 16' W.

Thanks again for your input. I look forward to hearing your responses,

All the best,

Igo2xs :D

Ps: Merry Christmas!!!

Hi Igo,

I like to say that there is no such thing as overkill :)

The HB-1's should work quite well in your space!

Sincerely,
