I'm wondering if other colors besides rosenut and satin black may become available any time soon or they are gone for good? Since these colors are not showing up any longer..does that mean that newer updated HB-1's are in production/design?:)

Hsu just cleared out all their other finishes, they are just going with rosewood and satin black for now. There is some walnut and piano black in the clearance section (http://www.hsuresearch.com/products/clearance.html) though.

I'm itching to buy a pair too...hehe. But I wonder if newer version (HB-1 MK3:D) is in the lab or production. That's the major thing keeping me from ordering it. But I must have the VTF-3.
Oh and the shopping cart is not entirely secured/encrypted (yahoo 128bit encryption) ..so transferring some funds on a gift card and using it on cart is probably good idea.

If they made a better version and there was no prior warning... well it would come out the day after my 30 day return was up. This is how my life has always gone.

I hear you. I know what you mean. It happens to me all the time. Bought LCD only a month before I heard about the launch date of the first LED TV's.

I really don't think they are working on a mk3 version of the HB speakers. They just got done working on the VTF-15H, so I'm sure that consumed all of their time recently. If I had to guess what the guys at Hsu are up to now, I think it would be bringing the technology developed for the VTF-15H to their other subs like the VTF2 and VTF3.
