did I order the wrong speakers?

I just purchased 2 vt-254's to use as back surround speakers for my system. After ordering and reading more I am concerned these are really just to be used with the VT-12 system; do I have a misunderstanding?

Here is what I am trying to accomplish;

I have a Pioneer VSX-92THX receiver - this is a 7.1 system and currently I only have speakers for a 5.1 I am looking for some small speakers to use for rear surrounds

My current speakers are;

2 each Infinity Primus 362 floor standing speakers
2 each Infinity Primus 162 bookshelf speakers which I will use for my Surrounds
1 each Infinity Primus C350 Center speaker
Outlaw (sorry http://forum.hsuresearch.com/images/icons/icon9.gif ) LFM1 Plus Subwoofer
Room size 18x18 with cathedral ceiling that tops out at 13 feet.

I want to add two satellite speakers in the rear to complete a 7.1 system.
