I already have the Ventriloquist and a STF-1 and want to improve my system. Two options I am looking at, get 4 HB-1s and a HC-1 and move the Vents to the bedroom. Or just get two HB-1s and the HC-1 and use the Vents as side and rear speakers. I'm not looking to get another sub as I'm happy with the STF-1.
Which option do you guys think I would notice an improvement from the most? The price difference I'm looking at is about $300. Would going with the HB and HC be enough of an improvement to justify getting them at all? If I used the HB/HC Ventriloquist combo would that work?
I was hoping there would be a package deal on the HB/HC group but there isn't unless you buy a sub. I've sent 2 e-mails asking about a package price and haven't gotten an answer. What do you guys think?

Hi Steve,

I feel that the horn bookshelf speakers would be a very significant upgrade from the VT-12 system. You could always try getting two HB-1's to start, and then add more horn speakers. Yes, we only offer discount on the horn bookshelves when purchasing a subwoofer.

Sincerely,

Pete,
Thanks for the response. I see there is a package deal with a sub but I don't need a sub. Any way we can get a package only on the horn bookshelf speakers?

I'm not sure that we offer something like that, Steve, but feel free to give us a call someday today to ask about that. Thanks!
