new to here... just ordered an STF-3

I've spent my holiday break analyzing and overanalyzing how to best put some "home theater allowance" that wifey gave me to good use. :)

I couldn't pass up the STF-3 based on historic reviews of the HSU product line as well as the free shipping on this model and already low price point.

That being said, on the front page here, Sasha posted that the STF-3 "arrives" on the 29th (tomorrow). Does that mean it starts shipping then? With no other info concerning backorder, does that mean I can expect this beast to arrive in the 2-7 days as advertised?

I understand this isn't a guaranteed shipping date, I'm trying to get accustomed to how things work.

History would show they will ship the first ones out on the 29th but because Sasha is on holidays you should email or phone sales to be sure when yours leaves. Sasha has said he is not always able to get to a PC and the www to repond while on break.

call the toll free # and speak with Sam - he is your man. He is in charge of that department.

Well, I just got through to the toll free line. The woman taking my call was very courteous. Unforutnately she said that the STF-3's haven't arrived and are still at the "dock". I believe she mentioned something about customs -- not 100% sure there.

Anywho, she said they are still expecting them to begin shipping at some point this week. I have know idea what a normal quantity is to get these type of things in, but, there was believed to be around 40-50 units in this first batch.

I think I was able to get within that number -- so, if you are on the fence, I'd recommend getting in or you'll run the risk of waiting for batch #2.
