I know you guys are not going to give out any info about this new sub you had at CES. In a way, I'm kind of upset that I just plopped out $1400 in new subs, trying to reach a bliss of bass(and I am very satisfied!). But now with the word out about HSU sub heading down to 10hz........makes me wish I would have waited on my order :(
So, without giving too much info, is this something that is expected to hit the market in a month? 6 months? next year?

No, but you can feel 10hz.
If there wasn't a need for something, it wouldn't be produced.

I have the 3.3 Turbo & MBM-12 and I will get the new sub when it comes out. I just wish that they would let us know what it is! PETER????????

AFAIK, yes, you can hear it, but only if it's loud enough. It's a matter of human sensitivity to sound, because frequencies that low are, of course, still sounds. For example:

So, using this chart for typical human ear sensitivity, if you play your theater around 80dB in the main/normal/upper freq ranges, to hear 10Hz around the same level you'd have to have a 10Hz signal at about 116dB.
Now, at what point can you actually feel the 10Hz vibration in the couch around you, your body, or in the air? Less than at 116dB? Maybe, probably, I dunno.
Just trying to show that it's not as cut and dry as "can't hear below 20Hz"...

I can easily sense a 16hz wave at 85db. (I havn't tried anything with less volume than that). Now, I don't know if I could say I could hear it, but I could certainly feel it. 16hz feels a little strange, as it doesn't have that strong shaking feeling like 30hz does.
