Hey everybody. I just ordered the Enthusiast 2 Speaker Package from HSU Research. I have tried three different Home Theaters in a box and was never satisfied with the sound quality. Last week I went to Best Buy and purchased a Denon AVR-1911 Reciever and the Mirage MX 5.1 Speaker set. For the $800 price tag of the speakers, I was a little underwhelmed by the sound to say the least. It was definitely a step up from what I was used to listening to, but still not what I wanted. I want CLEAN, CLEAR, CRISP, LOUND and last but not least, BASS!!! Those speakers just werent doing the trick. I made a post on the AVS Forums and someone suggested HSU Research. I checked out their different options and I decided to go with the Enthusiast 2 Package. I am stoked to get these speakers and sub and finally get the sound I've been waiting for, hopefully. I was just wondering if there is anything special I'm going to need to do as far as my sound settings are concerned. The Denon Reciever I have includes the Audessy Auto Setup with a mic. I was going to run that setup and make sure my bass settings are set to LFE + Main. I wasn't sure what my Crossover HZ setting should be. With my last set of Mirage Speakers, I had the Crossover setting at 150HZ. It will probably be at least a week until I get them but I just want to be prepared. Thanks guys.
