Duties, taxes, etc to Ontario

I am considering the purchase of a VTF-2 and am trying to calculate the full cost. Can anyone in Ontario, Canada provide information on all the various costs associated with thier purchase?

I will be getting the STF-3 next week, very excited! The additional costs are Duty (3.5%), GST (7%) & Customs Clearance which can vary depending on who does it - HSU recommends to budget 20% for everthing so that there are no surprises.

If it turns out differently I will update this post.

How much extra was the shipping costs? Also, which courier did you end up using? Can they use USPS? Thanks.

As far as I know, HSU uses FEDEX ground, since I am in Ontario it would not make sense to compare to what I was quoted - use the link on HSU's site; http://www.fedex.com/ratefinder/home?cc=US&language=en

I'll update if there are any surprises when I receive.
