I'm not sure if this is allowed here, I apologize if not...
My beloved HSU TN1220 is not well. I think it succumbed to my cat toppling it over. This happened a while ago and for a while I limped along not knowing what was wrong. Finally I took out the driver and noticed the cylinder was cracked around where the driver screws into the top. I've tried to gule and reseal it but the volume just isn't there. I sent the driver back to HSU to see if maybe that was the problem. They looked it over and straightened it out (slight bend from the fall) and felt it was fine. They were also kind enough to send me some sponge stuff to help with the seal. Unfortunately, the volume still isn't there.
I would like sell it to someone who may be able to either fix the cylinder or otherwise use the parts. I'm selling everything, cylinder, driver and 250 watt amp for $50. I have the box (which the buyer can have as well) but I want to sell local (in Colorado).
I purchased a MFW-15 from av123 to replace my tn1220. One of the reasons I choose them is they are only about 2 miles from my house. Of course, like HSU, they also make very good products, but being able to buy (and audition) locally is a huge thing. Here are some pictures including the damage to the top of the cylinder.
