Hi Sasha,
This is Liu Xin. I just want to tell you that I have been using the VTF-3 in my stereo set-up for more than 6 months and the VTF-3's performance gets better and better. You can see my set-up from the picture that I linked below.
You can see I put my subwoofer right to my right main speaker. This is due to the restriction of my room. I tried to put it just behand my sofa, it sounds good, more tight in bass and much more clean in overall sound.
You mentioned that changing interconnect and power cord may not be helpful in sound improvement. However, I still ordered a pair of 3-meter AQ copperhead interconnect cable to replace my current junk cable and will replace the power cord with a thicker pwoer cord that retired from my amplifier. I'll let you know if there any improvement.
Any way, I do enjoy the improvement that VTF-3 brought to my hifi set-up and it's a good investment. I'm also glad that VTF-3 is keeping improving while I'm using it.
