Hi,
i have a question since you have the BD-30 have you heard any difference in SQ when sending the PCM decoded signal to your receiver vs internally decoding it in your AVR?
Please let me know because I have the PS3 and maybe I will get an BD-30 if there is a difference in SQ when the signal is sended as bitstream...

Don't really know since I only use bitstream.

Thanks!
I meant to say was "I really DON'T know as I only use bitstream and not analog". My TV is a older 57" Sonly and it does 1080i and not 1080p. So there is no reason for me to watch and listen in 5.1 or 7.1 analog.
Sorry, Bill
