I got my STF-2 last night, plugged it in and tuned it in. It was awesome I've never had an active sub before I didn't know what I was missing. So I thought I would add a little bass to my life this morning before I went to class. Turned on Fellowship at Sauron's swipe and nothing!!! Tried turning the sub to on from standby and nothing, moved the surgeprotector to other outlets and nothing. Anyone have any suggestions, this is not the way to start out your morning.

Have you checked out the subs fuse?
Is it no sound (ie pwr light on), or is there no pwr light coming on?

I checked the fuse after looking at the manual and it was blown-- I am going to replace it later today
Its weird that the fuse blew in the middle of the night when it was getting no signal and should have been shut off

It's actually not off its on standby. So power is active to the transformer. When it detects an input signal it switches power to the amp board.

i switched out the fuse and it blew another one and never came on. I guess this one will have to be shipped back and i will have to wait another month to for a subwoofer.

Called customer service today and they are shipping me a new sub and are paying for the shipping to send the old sub back. You really have to appreciate companies that take care of their customers.

recieved my replacement stf-2 yesterday afternoon. Its working great so far although I haven't had a chance to really test it out. Did watch Titan AE. The bass was so loud i had to turn the movie down from my normal listening level so as not to disturb the neighbors.
