The kids wanted to do an Easter Egg hunt on Monday night so we got out some plastic eggs for them. My 3 year old daughter proceeded to hide an egg inside the port of my MBM-12. Fortunately, my wife saw her do it.

I reached inside to get the egg, but it lodged down between the magnet and the driver. I did find a dust cloth also inside my MBM-12 that I was able to extract. I removed the amplifier to get to the egg and was able to get it out ok.

Last night I listened to some music and the MBM-12 sounded better. The improvements may be just my imagination, but the dust cloth was covering part of the driver and I think it might have been muffling it a little.

If you have kids, make sure you check your ports every once in a while.

To bad the Easter Egg didn't help. That could have been the next big thing to discuss on these forums on how to improve the MBM-12's with your mains by putting Easter Eggs inside.:D

Several years ago my daughter put a matchbox car into the front port of our Bose Acoustimass module and it nearly scared my wife to death when she turned on the stereo. Luckily it didn't do any damage but the noise from the rattling was horrible.

I won't mention the father's name but, "The apple don't fall far from the tree." :)

That's one way to lock the kid down for a diaper change. Looks like you'll need another one for the other leg
