VTF-2 manual and "crossover 101" question.

Two questions...

I lost my VTF-2 manual. Are they available for download on the HSU site somewhere?

Is there an "idiots guide" to crossover frequency setting? Someone explained this to me once, but I just can't seem to remember. My fronts have frequency response 50 - 24kHz and my rears are 80-24kHz (no center). So, how would I figure crossover setting for fronts, rears, and sub based on this?

Hi Ed,

We do have an owners guide for the VTF series here: http://www.hsuresearch.com/products/vtf-mk3.pdf

Even though you may have the original VTF-2, much of what is stated in the new manual will be applicable.

As for crossover frequency, try starting with an 80Hz crossover. Generally it is best to cross over at a point where the speaker is not already rolling off in terms of frequency response.
